Note: All labour and transport charges during the warranty period are payable by the customer, capped at a maximum of Rs 5,000 per intervention.

General Terms & Conditions
1.Warranty Commencement & Validity

This warranty commences strictly on the date of installation as recorded on this certificate and remains valid for the duration specified for each component. The installation date is the sole reference for calculating warranty periods. This warranty is valid only when the system is installed by Sofo Soler Moris Ltd or its authorised agents.
2.Original Purchaser & Transferability
▼
Issued to the original purchaser at the original installation address only. Non-transferable unless written approval is obtained from Sofo Soler Moris Ltd within 14 days of ownership change.
3.Installation Requirements
▼
Must be installed per manufacturer guidelines and Mauritian building codes: (a) PRV where mains pressure exceeds 6 bar; (b) functioning T&P valve; (c) approved plumbing materials; (d) adequate structural support.
4.Water Quality Requirements
▼
Valid only with water meeting: pH 6.5–8.5; TDS below 500 mg/L; chloride below 250 mg/L; hardness below 200 mg/L CaCO₃. SS304 requires strict water quality compliance.
5.Customer Maintenance Obligations
▼
To maintain warranty: (a) continuous cold water supply; (b) clean tubes every 6 months; (c) quarterly visual inspection; (d) annual tank flush; (e) annual T&P valve test; (f) professional service every 4 years. Failure to comply with any of the above may void the warranty.
6.Labour & Transport Charges
▼
All labour and transport costs incurred during the warranty period for inspection, repair, or replacement are payable by the customer. The maximum charge per intervention shall not exceed Rs 5,000 (Five Thousand Mauritian Rupees) inclusive of transport and labour. This charge applies to each individual service visit regardless of warranty status.
7.Warranty Claim Procedure

Contact +230 5251 5321 or sofosoler@gmail.com within 14 days of discovering a defect. Provide certificate number, description, and photographs. Sofo Soler Moris Ltd reserves the right to inspect the system before approving any claim.
8.Repair, Replacement & Remedy

Sofo Soler Moris Ltd will repair or replace defective components at its sole discretion. Replacements may be of equivalent specification. Repaired or replaced parts are covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period, not a new warranty period.
9.Limitation of Liability
▼
The total liability of Sofo Soler Moris Ltd under this warranty shall in no event exceed the original purchase price of the system. Sofo Soler Moris Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of income, property damage, water damage, or any costs arising from system failure or downtime. The customer acknowledges that this warranty is the sole and exclusive remedy.
10.Exclusion of Liability for Misuse & External Factors

Sofo Soler Moris Ltd shall bear no liability for damage, loss, or system failure caused by: (a) misuse, neglect, or failure to follow maintenance obligations; (b) unauthorised modifications, repairs, or relocation; (c) connection to incompatible plumbing or electrical systems; (d) use of non-approved parts or accessories; (e) water quality outside specified parameters; (f) acts of third parties including plumbers not authorised by the company.
11.Force Majeure

Sofo Soler Moris Ltd shall not be held liable for any delay or failure in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to cyclones, storms, flooding, earthquakes, pandemics, government restrictions, supply chain disruptions, or shortage of materials or parts.
12.Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising under this warranty shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, the matter shall be referred to mediation. This warranty is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Mauritius.
13.Entire Agreement
▼
This warranty certificate together with the proof of purchase constitutes the entire warranty agreement between the customer and Sofo Soler Moris Ltd. No verbal promises, representations, or agreements made prior to or at the time of purchase shall modify these terms unless confirmed in writing and signed by a director of Sofo Soler Moris Ltd.
